. ‘When you need heavier cleaning, use special laminate flooring cleaner. You can also use a mixture of household vinegar and water (1 cup vinegar to 1 gallon warm water) or else, household ammonia and water (1/2 cup ammonia to 1 gallon warm water).

. For bad, deep stains; use acetone or denatured alcohol with a soft cloth. It will spare your floor from bleaching and other damages. You can also use a pinch of nail polish remover as a substitute as it contains acetone.

* Avoid excessive wear and damage by using door mats and rugs outside room entrances and in front of kitchen sink and refrigerator. It will help in keeping dirt and grit off your floor and result in protection from high traffic as well.
