Arosio Velvet Notte is a signature artistic veneer crafted under the vision of E&C Arosio, known for translating atmosphere into material. The oak used for this veneer is sourced from cool-canopy European forests, then rested through an extended low-light curing period — a traditional method that deepens the timber’s internal chroma while calming its fibre tension.

The wood undergoes velvet-steaming, a gentle thermal technique historically used in fine marquetry, which softens grain edges and prepares the surface for deep, nocturnal colouration. Pigments are applied through a hand-brushed diffusion method, allowing the burgundy-violet tones to settle into the grain valleys like layered night shadows.
